Personal care
Personal care usually means hands-on services that assist you with critical day-to-day activities that you can’t do on your own. We can assist with the tasks that are personal to you.
Companionship
One of our private companion carers will come to your home to provide a friendly face and ear, an extra hand around the house, or to help get you out of the house and stay social.
Private nursing
Acquaint carers provide support to our nurses by administering medications, monitoring health conditions, and reporting any changes to our Service Managers and Principal Nurse.
Home assistance
Our carers take the hassle out of the harder jobs like hanging the bedding and hanging damp, heavy sheets to dry. We also help with shopping and cooking meals to your liking using your favourite ingredients.
After hospital home care
This could be anything from bringing you home after a hospital stay, to daily or even live-in care until you fully recover. Once you are back to good health we step away, although we are always around should you need us.
Overnight care
We offer supportive private overnight home care. Our experienced carers are available to assist you throughout the night, ensuring that you feel safe and comfortable in your own home.
Traditional 24 hour care
Our traditional private carers usually works for eight hours at a time and have at least eight hours of sleep overnight.
Intensive 24 hour care
Our intensive private carers are available for when you need more support and is typically covered in three eight hour shifts a day.
Live in care
You’ll have a small team of private carers that live in your home over the course of a week. This traditional type of live in care is charged in blocks rather than an hourly rate.
Home gardening
When you love the garden but aren’t loving all the heavy lifting or getting down on your knees and hoping you can get back up again. We’re here to help.
Pet care
Sometimes you might need help with transportation for taking your pooch to the vet or help with feeding and walking. We can incorporate looking after your best friend into our services for you.
Transportation
We’ll be your go to in order to get to that appointment, meet the girls for lunch or simply be there to lend a helping hand.
