Collingwood Magpies, Carlton Blues, Melbourne Demons, St Kilda Saints and… all the rest of them.
Melbournian AFL enthusiasts certainly have reason to be excited. And here at Acquaint, we’re not ones to stand in the way of a good time.
So no matter who we barrack for, we’ll be sure to leave such prejudice at the door when we’re on the clock. All the while, we’ll ward off bad juju by never approaching two finals games the same way.
So let us walk you through the natural progression of finals footy – Acquaint style.
Week 1: Qualifying finals
It would certainly not come as a surprise to any of us that your team is amongst the best of the best.
Which is why we’ll put on a spread to promote rest and relaxation as we watch your team’s clearly superior skill showcase.
Because what’s the worst that could happen? We do it all again next week? Ha, cheers to that.
Week 1: Elimination finals
Well, of course we’re pleased your team made the finals. But honestly, did we expect anything less?
This is hardly a time for happiness. Don’t be daft, darling. No one wants to fall at the first hurdle.
That’s why when we watch the elimination final with you, we cheer with you as though your dignity depends on it. (Because we know it does.)
Week 2: Semi-finals
The higher they climb, the harder they fall. We understand it all too well – which is how we know with absolute certainty that last week’s games were merely child’s play.
In semi-finals week, we take it up a notch. So MCC members, or anyone who wants to be where the action is, get in the car. We’re off to the ‘G.
Week 3: Preliminary finals
So close, yet so far. The time of the preliminary finals calls for an upping of the ante.
This means signs, streamers and scarves must be displayed across the front of the home to ensure all passers-by understand exactly which team is taking over the town.
Week 4: Grand final
After a long four weeks, we know how emotionally drained you must be. So here in week four, we’re all about the simple pleasures.
So if you’re not up to your 50-year member seat and lunch in the Long Room, that’s fine by us. A bottle of red, a full cheese platter and the company of friends at home will do just as nicely.
And most importantly? An HD screen. We’ve got a game to win, after all!
Just like your team, our tailored home care services are the best of the best.
