Your new night-time routine

They say to win the morning is to win the day. But clearly, they are not in the know. To win the day, one must win the night before.

A proper routine de la nuit involves more than simply ‘bathe before bed’.

Honestly, the thought of skipping any of the following five steps is blasphemous.

But luckily, Acquaint’s on the job. So don’t fret, your – and your family’s – beauty sleep is safe with us.

Step 1: A calming cup of tea

Not to be confused with a morning, midday or even afternoon brew, your evening blend must put relaxation at the forefront.

A non-caffeinated, herbal tea is just the ticket. Especially if it includes chamomile or lavender.

So to begin your bedtime routine, have Acquaint pop into the kitchen to fix you a cuppa. We’ll produce a pour with the perfect shade of translucency – enough to see the bottom, but never enough to be confused for water.

Step 2: A soothing soak in the bath

As we all know, the best bath starts with the ambience. Soft, warm lighting. Slow, peaceful music. And three lit candles. Nothing more – and nothing less – will do.

Next, the temperature. It must be hot, but not too hot that it interrupts one’s graceful descent into submersion.

Finally, the water composition. Relax the muscles with some ancient mineral bath salts. And to hydrate the skin, a few drops of bath oil will be in order.

Step 5: Midnight catch up (at your discretion)

Oftentimes, one needs to feed – or relieve – oneself, overnight.
